Striving for excellence, the
Las Vegas Marching Arts is dedicated to supporting and
promoting a competitive world class drum and bugle corps
for the city of Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
LVMA, Inc. will also provide opportunities for
Nevada's young people with creative and educational
vocal and instrumental performance groups.
LVMA,
Inc. is a non-profit organization that focuses on the
enrichment of the current music programs in Las Vegas.
Our goal is to bring society together by providing a
safe, drug free environment for our young leaders of the
future. The organization provides highly qualified
educators who utilize the "Music Educators National
Standards" to offer the utmost education for our
children.
Through creative top level performance
and music instructors we will provide all necessary
funding and support for annual tours for competitions
around the United States and Canada. We are currently in
the process of building a solid foundation of support,
through the formation of a booster group to help with
fundraisers, auditions and to have fun. Our current goal
is to field a drum and bugle corps in summer of
2010.
These performance athletes become 'good
will ambassadors' and bring a solid representation of
the city of Las Vegas and the state of Nevada to the
world.
